Production of tooling

Making a tooling is the first step in the investment casting production process.

An initial pattern is made of steel which is identical to the future shape of the part.

The steel pattern is used for casting a die from suitable alloys. The die is machined and finished by skilled toolmakers. We use the 3D CAD/CAM software Pro/ENGINEER and SurfCAM..
